MUKA nail stickers are extremely easy to use. But for sure you want your MUKA mani last as long as possible. Here are some Tips you might find useful.
1
Make sure your nails are prepared well:
Buffing your nails ensures that the nail is smooth enough for application.
The cleansing pad degreases the nail surface for better adhesion and cleans out dirt particles.
2
Avoid touching the back side of the sticker. A greasy and dirty adhesive side reduces its durability.
3
Choose the size of the sticker correctly. Make sure the whole sticker adheres to the nail plate. The sticker stuck on the cuticles around the nail will tend to peel off. If it is too wide, choose the smaller size.
4
Sometimes people have unusual lunula shapes. You can trim the sticker with scissors if needed. But keep in mind: you can only make a slight correction of the shape of the sticker. Trimming large stickers to the small ones results with the sticker less suited to the curvature of the nail and thus it will have a tendency to peel off.
5
File off the excess using downward motion only. Use a sharp file. Filing off with diagonal moves may damage the sticker’s pattern and destroy its edge.
6
OPTIONAL: If you want, you can additionally protect your manicure with a top coat. To do this, first, degrease the sticker on the nail. Use a cleaning tissue for this.
7
OPTIONAL: Apply your favorite top coat* - also on the nail edge.
*Subject to test: in rare cases, some top coats may damage the top layer of the product. For this reason, we rather do not recommend quick-drying top coats.
8
OPTIONAL: For the best results, we recommend a gel coat as a top coat. When using a gel coat always apply the transparent base first and then the top coat.
